Time to catch up!

Time to catch up! I'm very behind on our family blog - 3 months have past! Ugh! This is just a quick overview of the happenings in our life since the last entry.

Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving was spent in Lyman, Wyoming, with the Buckner family. Good times, good food, good people.

Grandma Lynne with grandkids Emma and Emmitt.

Paula with Emma and Bridger.

Creche Exhibit
Emma was baby Jesus in our stake Creche exhibit. She did awesome! We were assigned 1 hour to pose as the Holy Family, and for 45-50 minutes of it she just sat and smiled and cooed at people. Children were particularly taken by her. A few even came back to "see the baby Jesus". It was touching to have young children come and kneel by the manger, talk to her, and hold her hand.

Christmas
Christmas was spent in Evanston and Lyman. We spent Christmas Eve & Christmas morning with the Barkers, then traveled to Lyman to see other extended family. Great holiday.

Jim and Emma - her first Christmas. Doesn't she looks thrilled.

Hawaii
Jim went to Hawaii for a week with the BYU golf team in February. He is their academic coach, so was invited to go. He played golf, watched golf, ate Polenesian food, snorkeled . . . . what a tough work week.

They often rode scooters to get around. How fun is that?

Wearing the shirts Jim brought back from Hawaii.

Josh in Chile
Josh is working hard on his mission and is currently serving as a zone leader in a beautiful area of Chile. Here are a few pictures of where he has served.

Hailey
Hailey played soccer in the fall, and just finished basketball season at Orem High School.

OHS girls soccer team. Hailey played and Paige was a manager.
OHS girls basketball team. Hailey played and Paige was a manager again.

Hailey's biggest news is her acceptance to attend BYU. She is stoked to become a Cougar!

Paige
Paige is the student body president and is also involved in choir. She has been OHS manager's for soccer and most recently, basketball. She's looking forward to when she can play competitive sports again. The torn ACL knee is improving and she is easing into athletic life. Spring soccer is starting and she has started light practicing with her team.

Emma
Emma is growing very quickly. She is nearly 6 months old! Where has the time gone? She is very happy most if the time, loves attention, and is rolling over from back to belly. She needs to master the other direction. She is sitting up - mostly - maybe a little tipsy still. She is also trying rice cereal and doesn't really care for it.

Notice the headband pushing her hair up in a mohawk style. A joy to our family.
